Odd Perversions of Natural Occurrences

For some unknown reason I've been letting certain areas of my facial hair grow. Some might say it's because I like it, but I don't. I don't think it looks fetching, nor doing I think it really suits me. It's very scraggly and sparse. Worse yet it's irritating and annoying at times. And yet I seem to have some odd desire to keep it, at least for a little while.

In other news, today I had Famous Dave's for lunch with a co-worker. Yummy yum. I had St. Louis-style ribs and BBQ Chicken. I'm thinking I should have gone for the pulled pork instead of chicken, but it was still quite delicious. It wouldn't take much to get me to go again tomorrow or any other day. :-)

In yet other news, I'm going back to Tucson for Christmas. I live Friday, the 18th, after work and return the night of the 27th, Sunday.

And finally, I drove home in the rain today. I didn't have much of a choice, but it really wasn't bad at all. A bit cold on the legs and wet on the tush at first, but otherwise not bad. I probably only went 30 to 40 max, and I took it really slow around curves and stop lights, but still, first time for everything. If I ever move anywhere else or take an extended vacation I'm finding a way to get a motorcycle.

Yeah I have facial hair on me for that very reason. Although, the other day I forgot to shave the patch right underneath my bottom lip. Jason wanted me to leave it he thought it looked good. I couldn't stand it...was driving me CRAZY. It got shaved off before I left the bathroom.

Glad you enjoyed Famous Dave's but wait till you come to Tucson. We will take you to a place that really knows how to do Southern BBQ with a nice twist for the Southwest.

Tucson - YAAAAAAA......glad you are coming and can't wait to see you.

It rained here some this afternoon, too. We are expecting more over night and tomorrow morning. It's supposed to get winder overnight as well. Oh well, all I can say is it would have been nice to be in Flagstaff to enjoy some of the 2 feet of snow that got. Maybe it will snow some in TN while we are there.

Normally the little patch under the lip is what annoys me the most, but it's no more annoying then any other part I keep pulling at. Sometimes I'll shave just it off, and others it will be the catalyst that gets it all shaved off again. heh

I'll look forward to. I'll try to make something for you guys this time, too. I've been watching Iron Chef America, Good Eats, and a few other cooking shows lately so I have a notion to cook something now. :-)

The only downside of snow is I wouldn't dare, no matter how much is on the ground, drive on the motorcycle in it. At the moment it's the only thing I have to drive, but I've worked out something with work where I'll work from home with an understandably erratic schedule while I get it looked at and taken to the shop.

so you had a car wash without the car

I'll take some more if/when I shave it off again. I doubt it will look much different than the last time I grew it out and shaved it, but we'll see.

A car wash typically leaves things cleaner than they were. In the dessert, rain just leaves everything dirtier. My bike is no longer shiny, but is covered it bits of dust left from where the rain fell.

We had a few snow flurries today. It looks like we're expecting some rain over the weekend too, but it'll be getting warmer over the next week as well so it's unlikely to snow again.

I have no clue what I'd be doing. I overheard a game on TV yesterday and the entire time they're talking about red and yellow penalties (huh?), intercept ratio (ratio to what?), and other terms... I had no clue what they were talking about. =\ It's just not my cup of tea.
