Justification for avoidance? No. - The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective

Justification for avoidance? No.
The justification for bringing food back to my desk was that I could continue working while eating (if only it weren't a pulled pork BBQ sandwich), but the reality is that I just don't want to see a guy that often eats at the same time I do.

For the previous two work days I sat down and lost my appetite half way though my meal as I realized how depressing it is to see the same person almost every day, be curious about them, and yet not say anything.

How sad, that I would devolve down to avoiding the lunch room. I have to make a point of not doing this again.

Alright, back to work.

Everyone likes to think this (or at least I know I do), but realistically he's straight and just doesn't care.

But I certainly can't try to avoid him, either. So something's going to have to happen that puts him off the radar. Not sure what that is just yet, though.

You could always take the direct route but in introducing yourself by way of friendly interest in him as a person rather than sexual interest.

That just sounds too easy. XD

In which case he also doesn't have the guts to say anything. :-P

Tsk tsk.

Pulled pork, eh? Perhaps the universe is communicating something deeply metaphorical. :)~

... They had BBQ Chicken on a bun as well.

It was pretty good. I had tater tots and peas as my sides. I really like being able to get a full balanced(?) meal for breakfast and lunch.

Well, the peas are healthy, anyways... :)

Their meals are usually a little less meat-centric so I'm not too concerned. :)

They also have a salad bar, deli bar, and grilled bar for lunch too.

Breakfast includes a container of pre-skinned and pre-sliced fruit, which is fairly rich in flavor (aka ripe). Yum. :)

Heh.

DAMN YOU AND YOUR TASTY CAFETERIA FOOD!

Re: Heh.

heheh. I always thought public school cafeteria food was good too. Then again living in Louisiana they occasionally added Gumbo and Jambalaya to the menu as well. The only things they served I wasn't so hot about were the fake ribs and the pizza.

Re: Heh.

School food was never horrible to me, but it was occasionally bland.

::shivers:: Blah, it's cold.

Re: Heh.

Cold and rainy again today. *tosses a blanket over you* Better?

Hmm... yeah, I could agree with that assessment, especially of the pizza. Over cooked would also be appropriate.
