With no time turner, Penguicon panels TBD
What happens when you go to a convention where there are lots of various things that look potentially interesting?

Something like this:

(Hours shown are in Eastern time zone)

Clearly I won't be able to go to five different panels in a single hour without a time turner, and since I don't have one of those I'll be pruning the selected schedule aggressively as time progresses and choices must be made. Some hours will see no panels or none attended, maybe some game room time, maybe time to myself in my room, and some just wandering or sitting in the halls. Who knows!

This is what attending the American Sociological Association usually feels like.

Yep, I do this at almost any convention. If I didn't then I suppose I likely wouldn't want to go again, eh?

The couple of times I went to Dragon*Con were similarly overbooked, though the second year I curtailed it to mostly tracks with rooms near each other so I didn't run between multiple hotels and the crowds waiting for the celebrity panels. I had a prior engagement around the time I went to Sakura-Con a couple of weekends ago so I ended up missing almost all the panels I wanted to check out.

I've already got my schedule for today mostly worked out. I'll figure out tomorrow later. XD

I'm quite pleasantly surprised that I have an hour free around lunch time on both Saturday and Sunday.

That is a really varied set of panels.

That's one of the reasons why I like this convention. There's penny of variety to see and do at various times. It also reflects on my own nature as well.
