What RPG stands for (to me)
I like games that I can defy the "natural" order of things yet still come to the same ending. I like the free-style games that have economy and fighting. In other words, I want the option of building a log cabin on the side of a hill as well as fighting monsters in a dungeon.

Which is why I don't like the new Zelda, cause you're not allowed to Jump whenever the heck you want. Just reeks of lazy programmers who didn't want to deal with the contingency of a freestyle world. Mario Sunshine, on the other hand, is da bomb. ^_^

hi,I don't know you. I was bored and parusing my friends of friends and then got into the friends of their friends and so on and I came across your post.
as an avid, avid zelda fan, i feel the need to comment that you aren't allowed to jump in *any* zelda game, and that's just something that comes along with playing in the zelda universe. I cannot think of a single instance in a zelda game where there was a command to jump, especially in the 3d games. youve always had to climp onto a taller object and fling yourself at things. just a thought. i will now back away from your journal and leave you in peace. havea nice day.

heheh, it's okay. Feel free to stay and hang around. I don't mind visitors, and I won't bite... much ;)

Don't get me wrong, I love the original Zeldas as well. I'm justing mentioning Zelda specifically because it seems frivolous to have a game in 3D if you can't do some of the more unique things to a 3D game, such as jumping. They might as well have made it another game for SNES as far as I can see.
