The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective
*weeps for poor Marvin*
I just finished the fourth book of The Hitchhiker's Trilogy. So sad what happened to Marvin. I mean, I felt for the poor guy. I admired him even. He had spunk and stuck with it through thick and thin. I mean, the poor fellow is 37 times the age of the universe. You gotta give him his props for not committing suicide in all that time. :-(

in that case, the story acknowledges the truth of black holes and that they create alternate universies (since light is sucked into it and doesn't come back) and that the universe in comparison to his age is actually a sub-universe or an alternate universe created in the blackhole of another universe?

No, time travel is a common thing in the book so really what happened is he kept going back and forth in time.
