High school student questioned by the Secret Service.
Uhh, these people are idiots. I'd make "anti-war" drawings if I could draw. (probably shouldn't say that seeing as they're already watching me, but what kind of free speech do we have if we can't say what we want? It's not free speech if anything is censored.)

This says it best: "If this 15-year-old kid in Prosser is perceived as a threat to the president, then we are living in '1984.'" -- Kevin Cravens, friend of the unidentified boy's family

PROSSER, Washington (AP) -- Secret Service agents questioned a high school student about anti-war drawings he did for an art class, one of which depicted President Bush's head on a stick.

Is it any wonder why we are a nation of apathetic people? A 15yo has a political opinion and they call in the Secret Service because his drawings depicted violence.

We should be encouraging children at that age to be aware of what is going on in the world; not punishing them for their knowledge and opinions.

Yes, because we all know its so cool to revolt against the government and be a rebel these days! Down with government, down with war! (Unless of course you are dead because of a arab-hijaked plane crashing into your work office) I think they should nail the kids head on a stick just for being such a bandwagon no self-opinion dumbass.

Well what a coincidence! I think you're a conservative moron! Good thing my right to an opinion is protected constitutionally! Not that Bush cares much for constitionality, mind you.
Patriot Act, anyone?

Funny, I don't support bush! What a coincidence, another anti-bush child who has no self formed opinion.

So anyone who's anti-Shrub has no self-formed opinion?

Hmmmm....let me think...Bush wants to pass an anti-gay constitutional amendment...and I'm gay...but of course I'm not indignant because of that, oh no, I'm indignant because I have no self-formed opinion. Wow are you ever good!

Fuck off, loser.

Oh boohoo, you think Kerry is going to give a shit about your gay rights? The big military man who served in vietnam, the war hero!!!

No, sorry. But let's lower ourselves to name calling since we can not win our argument, get lost fag.

Wow. You clearly were WRONG on your last point, so you try to shift to focus to Kerry. You're so clever. I don't like Kerry but at least he won't pass or support a bullshit discriminatory amendment like your shit-for-brains fuckbuddy, Shrub.

You, on the other hand, since you agree with the conservative viewpoint, cannot win an argument without using lies, religion, or patriotism/some other related illogical bullshit to back your point up. Are you really used to that shit working? Sorry, you'll never win this argument except in your own mind, which is apparently a vertiginous whirl of self-deception if you think I can't win this argument.

^^

Go blow Bush, you mentally deficient chode.

That'd be funny if it weren't so fucking sad. Only in the Bush administration. I feel they should have let him actually decapitate Bush before questioning him.

well, to start off, there's no freedom of anything.
and no, i'm not talking about the declaration or
proclamation or whatever, i'm talking about 'god'.
i use quotes in that we all believe something different.
anyways, as it is told, by whatever media it may be,
we have no freedom since 'god' had predestined everything,
and I mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G, meaning, what we do, we
do because we're supposed to, it's all been planned out
and we can't do anything to change it.

but if that's so, then why do it?
we do it because it lays out the path of events to and that
follows/followed, it gives an explanation, and if we can't
figure an explanation, because we overlooked something, or
aren't allowed to see/notice/be aware of/acknowledge/understand
that action/reason.

had to get this off my chest.
