The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective
To wait or not to wait, that is the question
I'm very tempted to take my $155.63 check, go to wal-mart, and get a GameCube system and Animal Crossing. I also have a mind to try getting it cheaper off eBay or some place Luke mentioned in Baton Rouge, but I'd have to wait a week or so before I could get it from eBay.

What do you think?

I love eBay. I'd try to get it off eBay because you've gone this long without it and if you get it cheap enough you might be able to get a second game.

mmm, meh. You're absolutely right. I should put the brakes on and just wait a little while longer. It won't kill me, I hope, and even $20 saved is 5 hours of work I can spend on something else, like a couple of movies, or even that movie I've been wanting called Get Real. mmm, yeah. *nods and goes back to his book and pizza*

Playstation 2... $150 from wal-mart.

Sorry, no matches were found containing "animal crossing".
That's what I get from playstation.com when searching for Animal Crossing. If your light side doesn't have the fun I seek, I'm going to the dark side. xD

eh, I've always found PS/2 to be rather expensive, and it doesn't really hold any games I'd be interested in, that I know of at least. Of course I don't watch the game lists and no one I know has a PS/2 that I've ever played so I really don't have a good insight into what it does have. meh fey.

No Animal Crossing, No Deal. AC is the entire reason I'm getting any gaming system, cause I could use that money on other things as well. Like, a computer game or a season pass to Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin'. Or I could just save it.

GameCube > PS2, any day!!! :D
*does the Mario dance*
Nothing beats a Legend of Zelda game(I know you don't like the fact that there isn't a jump button, but GET OVER IT!).
I've never played AC, but I heard its so addictive that even The Sims without cheats are pwned by it. (I don't like The Sims, but I must say that I was inadvertent addicted to it :'().

I say wait for it.
You'll most likely save enough money to buy yourself Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker(remember to get the version with Ocarina of Time on a Bonus Disc) or Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. :)

Ahh!! No fucking way! PS2 OWNS all other systems. Why? Simple. Final Fantasy. EAT IT, MARIO ASSHOLES!

Don't buy from Wal-mart! It's an evil, greedy, nasty, corrupt, republican corporation!! The low prices are because it pays its workers, many of whom are illegal immigrants, barely minimum wage while bankrupting all nearby businesses by continually driving prices down. Once the monopoly has stabilized, of course, they are free to do whatever they want with their prices. Oh, and they use legal loopholes to cirumvent zoning ordinances--anything to get their stores into places where even potential customers protest.
