That thing that everyone is doing, I think

  1. Take your LJ username and replace each letter with the corresponding number (A=1, B=2, etc...). If your name contains numbers, you'll need to convert them to letters first before you can convert to numbers.
  2. Add all of the numbers together to create a kind of super number.
  3. Note the first number, then add the digits of the number together.
  4. Find the post of this (the added number) in your LJ. If you don't have that many posts, add the digits together again. Keep doing so until the number is smaller than your pathetic number of posts.
  5. Take the digit you noted in step 3, and count that many words into the post.
  6. Use the resulting word in a Google Image Search, and select a picture from the first page.
  7. Post the results for us all to see!

Yeah, I did select a image. Does a picture of a night sky or star field violate that?

Anyway, sweet dreams. (Dunno why I'm saying that)

I find a star field just as valid of a image as a painting of anything else. It is simple yet still has a subtle complexity to it by the pattern of stars.

Well, this is the entry I found the meme in. I'm guessing it doesn't meet to your high standards either.

I would except you don't seem very respondant, and I'm not exactly at the computer right now. More like I'm laying in bed watching TV, reading a book, or playing a game.

The point of the meme is to show what kind of tastes the person has based on a selection of pictures from a word they used.

You might want to restart your client and/or computer. I've sent a request to your client for your profile information and nothing has come back. It seems like your client is ignoring all incoming data, but has no problem with outgoing.

Are you trying to make the meme more complex? People are already getting confused and making errors when filling out just the first parts.

Hullo! I was looking for people who lived around where I do when I ran across your journal. I hope you don't mind me adding you. We seem to have a few things in common, including being bored to tears with Gonzales. And the whole parents thing, but mine... well. Feel free to look at my LJ if you wanna see the whole sordid story. ^_^

It's also nice to see I'm not the only anime fan in LA, much less the only yaoi/slash person. (My twin brother doesn't really count, since he now lives in Ohio and he's not very yaoi-friendly anyway.) I hope we can be friends!

Curious... You have a twin brother, and that would leave you as what gender? I only know of one set of twins, but I don't know them well.

I'm not as much into anime as I'd like. For one, I don't have the money to buy any of the series. On the ot her hand, I do like slash if I can get my hands on decent writing. Deprevity I guess, or hopes for something I don't have?

Friending me is fine. I don't really care who friends me, as the majority of this journal is public anyway. (I'll see about friending you back a little later)

That would leave me as female. ^_^ And I don't know if you know myself and him, as we're 26. You might have been in elementary school when we graduated from St. Amant.

I know what you mean. It doesn't help that we have to go to Baton Rouge or the net for things like anime. The mall in Hammond does sell some translated manga, but that's ridiculously far away for broke-ass people. ^_^;;

Meh, nothing depraved about liking slash. Unless you're a serious (and I mean serious) NCS fan. That might be a little disturbed (and disturbing). I myself like Pirates of the Carribean slash (Jack/Will-- yummy!)
