Analog TV to go "bzzt" off for the last time

A recent slashdot article talks about a MSNBC article which outlines how Congress is preparing to cut off analog TV signals in favor of digital ones.

There's one good quote from the article:
How will it turn out? At the moment no one is really knows. Back in 1996, when the digital television transition was first proposed, media analyst Gary Arlen observed wryly that “it will be easier for Congress to take away Social Security than television sets.” Ironically, now Congress is worrying about both things at the same time — and neither problem seems to have a painless solution.

What next, dialup internet? xD

A momentary fall in mood

I was going to write "Could someone who knows d2leddy and/or vbseth tell me what's their relation to each other? Are they room mates or more?" but after a few minutes of not posting it (and deciding I'd be better off either not asking here or just asking one or the other directly) I came up with something better.

I have issues and I don't want to touch them.

This message inspired after reading fredo_joaquin and southernpm's user info. *sigh*

Ok ok, it's passing. I'll be fine. I'm just going to focus back on coding Imperial Kingdoms. It won't be too much longer before I have concepts and then armies implemented and everything will be ready to go.

The last song of Pay It Forward suits my mood right now

I've been listening to only this song for the past ... half an hour or more. It's the song that plays at the end of Pay It Forward. It suits my mood, but without being depressing. tearysky found it depressing but to me it kind of stablizes my mood.

I've been tempted to write [stories] the last couple of days. The things I've been considering aren't very positive, though. I wanted to code more than write so I put the temptation and ideas on the back burner.
