Tomorrow I have to call the community college to see if they received my transcript and GED scores. If they've had time to review them I'll probably have to set up a time to take the math portion of the residual ACT. I also have to fax in my dad's W2 form to the financial aid office so they can complete my FAFSA verification.
At 2 pm I have a doctor's appointment to check out the rash on my hand, as well as ask about a few other things.
At some point I need to ... dang, I dunno. It felt like there was more that needed to be done tomorrow however I can't think of what. I know that Wednesday I have to call the health clinic, but that's still a couple of days away.
I'm am so very annoyed, bordering on being ticked off. I hereby officially form the opinion that doctors and the medical profession are worthless for anything short of actual surgery.
I just had my appointment with the doctor about my skin rash. I went there a few minutes before the appointment to fill out the paper work and then a few minutes after two they actually called me back. I then sat in the waiting room for the next thirty minutes or so until the doctor was finally ready to see me. The doctor comes in and I tell him about the rash on my hand, the slight mucus/whatever buildup in my nose over time, the dryness of my face after taking a shower and how the forehead burns if I rub it any for a few hours, and how I can feel air on the back of my throat when I breath through my nose that quickly drys out my throat.
To all that his response basically revolves around "you're dehydrated" / "you're not getting enough liquids". The rash on my hand? Dermatitis / something-or-another; apply a moisturizer daily and it'll clear up but it'll never really go away. The nose thing? Prescribe a decongestant; it's the weather. The throat thing? The air is dry from the heaters; drink more liquid. The forehead thing? I don't see anything right now but it might be something or another; moisturize it.
DAGNABIT! TELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T ALREADY KNOW OR AREN'T ALREADY DOING! OR TELL ME HOW TO KEEP IT FROM HAPPENING! NOT HOW TO REMEDY IT AFTER THE FACT!
So basically I need to soak in a tub of moisturizer on a daily basis. -.-'
*strangles the air*
Edit to add: For the ten or fifteen minutes he was with me it was $65. Dagnabit, I feel ripped off. I want at least some of the money back cause it was so not worth it.
By the way, what's it with all the people on MySpace who request to be added as a friend but don't send a message or anything? I mean, for goodness sake I listed all of my IM contact information. If you can't even say a "Hi" then I don't want to talk to you.
