Work hours; tough choice

So apparently I was wrong about what hours they work; it's not 9 to 5. The first person I talked to, the recruiting assistance, said it's 7 to 4 with an hour lunch break, but the lead developer for my company (the sub-company I'm working under) says I actually have a choice. I can work 7 to 4 or 8 to 5, but preferably no flip-flopping. So I need to pick one and stick with it. The problem is, I can't decide if I'd rather have an extra hour in the evening or night. Flip a coin? *shrug*

PS: I have hot water! I can take a real shower now! Yes!

Work Hours (poll)

It's hard to decide if I should go with the logic of having an extra hour after work in which to get things done, or the personal desire to have an extra hour before sleep. If I went with 7am to 4pm then I would have to be in bed by 11pm or 12am. If I went with 8am to 5pm I could stay up until 12am or 1am. Well, sometimes anyway; early sleep would probably overcome me on a regular basis if I didn't have something going on already.

Poll #945543 Work Hours

Which work hours would you prefer?

7am to 4pm (an extra hour after work)
8am to 5pm (an extra hour before sleep)

Honestly, I'm leaning toward 8-5 just so I wouldn't have to get up quite so early.
