Museum Guidelines

Museums need to work out better ways of telling people no photography, no flash, or not to get too close to the exhibits. Something other than a guard yelping at you when you didn't notice a non-continuous line on the floor next to the exhibit or after using flash, a high-pitched noise out of nowhere, or a single line after a wall of text. Say, a sign at the entrance, a symbol on the wall, or raised lines around the exhibit.

I don't mind those rules. They are all there for good reasons. I just wish they had made them clearer ahead of time.
