The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective
Laptops are nice, except when you don't have one.
Dag-nab-it Wal-Mart, you need to get off your hiring freeze so I can start work.

My brother's laptop came today and the specs on it are very nice. 17.0" WXGA TFT display, 3.2 GHz Intel P4, 100GB hard drive, 1GB memory, built-in 802.11b/g wireless LAN, and 103-key keyboard.

I really really really want a decent (must have seperate num-pad and large screen) laptop to replace my desktop. A laptop may be the only thing I ever consider getting on credit, provided I have a steady income to pay for it. ... *glares at Wal-Mart ... then waits for everyone to glare at him* fine, whatever, blame me for not having a job or money.

*stabs his desires like a good little jobless drone*

The big problem is this. Bakery (the manager who did the mostly hiring) doesn't have any positions now. Personnel states that you may NOT work on the front end. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. However, I did talk to Andy (who's looking for a person or two for Electronics) and told him you had already been through the Interview process and been on your drug test. He said he would look over it. You, also, could call and check on your application every now and then.

Hey :-)

I know how it feels to be on a limited budget. No co-op for seniors, and no real job prospects for the summer. It's nt s fun.

Wish you the best of luck with a job!
