The nervous: I went to a play the community college was putting on. I knew one of the guys that was playing in it; actually, I knew two of them but one is an older gentleman rather than a cute guy I was trying to crush on. I tried to catch him before the play but he stayed put in the wings until the play started.
The good: The play was pretty good, funny, and entertaining. I was able to get the guy I knew in the play bring me home, but first we went to the casting party after the play for a little while.
The disappointing: At the casting party there were a number of ... very cute but very straight guys and two unavailable gay ones. Oh well. None of the topics going around had much interest to me; gambling, physics/college majors/career choices, some hush hush gossip about some other gay guys, and watching over the smaller children as they played mini-pool.
The Bad: The guy that was my ride (and the one I was trying to crush on) left early so he could surprise the guy he was seeing and ... anyway, it's a mess. I came home and realized that there was no reason for me to have left, other than the fact I needed to pee and when I need to pee I want to go home to pee (yes yes, childish). I didn't have anything I needed to get back for so I could have stayed and maybe eventually the conversation would be something of interest.
The Very Fulfilling: I got home, used the bathroom, and got online. As it turns out, someone I had messaged earlier on MySpace had gotten back to me and somehow the conversation wound to me visiting him and then him visiting me. And he did. Really nice guy, didn't get offended at my less-than-humorous jokes, and enjoyed the movies (Shrek 2 and Ella Enchanted). After they were over we retired to my room where we spent the rest of the night, what was left of it, and most of the morning doing nothing much specific and only getting about three hours of sleep. heh. At about 10:30 he had to get going so he could get home in time to get ready for work.
