Spam mail heretics
I just saw a spam email header that said "Stop making your fat friends envious of you"

Edit: Oops. I apparently read two spam subjects at the same time and thought I read that.
"Make your fat friends envy you"
"Stop gaining weight and get ..."
To which my below response still fits.

... My first reaction was "Uh, no. If you're envious of me then maybe you should work on your own body image rather than try to transfer your jealousy on me."

Quite simply, if you're not comfortable with your own body image and are envious of mine, go get your own. You're the one who made yourself fat, not me. If you don't want to be fat, then stop pigging out on fatty fast foods and start eating healthier. Don't come complaining to me about being fat when you eat fast food 4 or 5 days a week. Saying you work there is no excuse because I don't know of a single fast-food chain that doesn't have semi-healthy food. Just about every single one of them has salads these days. If you don't want a salad then bring your own food.

And that's my view and I'm sticking to it. It's not my fault you're fat, or my problem to fix.

And that's my view and I'm sticking to it.

Well, that's definitive.

Luckily, there's no new information in the world. Hasn't been for years.

My problem here, and why I wrote that (I don't mind changing my views, but chances are that isn't going to happen in this instance), is that I've seen and had quite a few [fat] people try to make me feel guilty for being skinny. Why is it my fault or problem if they're fat, yet they sit down and eat a big mac every day? It's an issue of personal responsibility. I could understand if they have a medical condition of some sort that affects their weight, but... *shrug*

PS: I also meant to be more cliche in saying "that's my view and I'm sticking to it" than definitive and unchanging.

It's not your fault, regardless. They are--at the least--projecting.

**nod. Understood.

BMI = weight / (inches ^ 2) * 703

Mine is 140 / (70 ^ 2) * 703 = 20
