What is a "Lady's Man"
As some of you may know, I've lead a sheltered life in that I haven't gotten out much and don't know what a lot of common culture terms mean. Well, I'm hoping that some of you could help me out here and define one for me.

What does a "lady's man" mean?

I guess there can be allot of descriptions.. the one I'm most familiar with is..
"Is someone (a man) who enjoys and attracts the company of women"

but I guess you can also say in a pejorative sense, to indicate disapproval of a man, who is spending more time with women (usually in a seductive sense)

It's kind of outdated -- it's basically "Guy who gets the ladies". Modern slang-use of "pimp" is similar.

I think Lady's (or ladies') man is usually used somewhat ironaically these days.

Hi, I friended you yesterday while reading the comments to ripper82's rant about the guy from OK Kupid (or whatever it's called). I would concur with irish_n_sac's definition. I was pretty sure what it meant but looked it up just to be on the safe side:

ladies' man
a man who strives especially to please women and to attract their attention and admiration.
Also, lady's man.
