"I'm kinda dating someone"
Could someone please explain what in the world "I'm kinda dating someone" is supposed to mean!? You're either dating them or you're not. If you're unavailable then you're definitely dating them. What is with this "kinda" business??

This is like the fourth time in the last month or two I've heard someone say "kinda dating", especially in conjunction with "I'm unavailable".

You PANSY.

I always like to think that translates as "You're far too intelligent and sophisticated for a jack-ass with no taste like me to date"... *shrug*

Personally, I think it's a cop-out when guys say that. Either they're making it up for some reason, or don't have the guts to just say they're dating someone. Commitment issues maybe?

This random comment brought to you by extreme ennui at work. I scoured the friendsfriends entries since I was that bored. So, hi.

I think this is the first time I've had a friend of a friend comment on my journal. I've been doing it to my friends for ages. Welcome, make yourself at home. :-)

I've been looking into Polyamory recently. I haven't decided exactly how I feel about it for myself yet, though. It would put a different spin on "commitment issues" at least, provided they and their 'date' were willing to consider that route as well. On the other hand, consider where I'm living and I find that highly unlikely. It's hard enough finding gay people, never mind open-minded gay people.

I'm not sure where I fall on the polyamory issue. Even in NJ with a relatively huge population of gay people, polyamory seems to cause more trouble than it's worth for those that I have known to try it.

I added you since most of my entries are friends only.

That seems ta happen allot especially when your chatn online with guys...
I try to make sure it's known that I'm in the dating scene and have friends with benf. But if I'm in a relationship then I'll state I have a BF or Taken.

That right guy is still in the making. lol
