Freaky Freaky
Ok, that was just freaky.

I got my hair cut a little while ago and considered asking if they ever saw the guy from Hastings. I thought better of it, though, and didn't say anything. After the lady was done and we were heading to the counter, lo and behold there he was just about to get his hair cut. I did say "Well hello, I didn't expect to see you here." The lady behind him asked if I was talking about her or him. There were a few other things said but nothing major. What he did say shows he at least recognized me from Hastings and Papa Johns, although there wasn't much more said from that.

I had trouble keeping my jaw up for several minutes.

Yeah, that's it. If I were one to consider things "a sign", this would be it. But I'm not investing heavily in wishes.

Good luck, in any case. Budding romances are so much fun.

Ah, yeah. If I were one to read signs then I'd call it a sign. As far as I'm concerned, though, it's merely a very unlikely coincidence.

See, I've been looking at this guy for like 3+ months now. I still know almost nothing about him, including if he's gay or not, much less if he's interested. As another friend put it, "You're too shy for your own benefit, love...".

Oh well. :-]

Have you thought of getting any of your friends ( guy or gal) to just come hang out while he's there and try to find anything out?
Hope things work out though it sounds like your way into him.
I'll toss some good'OL Irish Luck your way... ;o)

I don't really have any friends around here. I did get one guy I knew (and his boyfriend) to visit the guy's workplace, but he wasn't there. I've been visiting the store several times after I get off work and he hasn't been there. I had the perfect pickup line, too. I figured I would pick up Sweet Home Alabama and ask him if he's seen it before and if he would like to see it [again]. Alas, I went in tonight and he wasn't there, but I rented it anyway. =\ Oh well.

I'm sure there are guys like me around there too, but they're probably too shy to say anything either. :-P
