Going wrong
If anything else can go wrong it probably will. It would not surprise me in the least if I don't have a job after tonight.

  1. It took me forty-five minutes to find a place less than half a mile from us.
  2. There were three orders going within a couple of minutes of each other. I logged them all out and figured I could zip from one to the next. I went to the bathroom and when I came back the manager said I can only take one because one has to be there at a certain time. I wanted to tell him I could make them all in time, but I knew he wouldn't have it. I did the correct thing and only took the first order, since the third one was closest to the second one. The guy who took the other orders said they [usually] tip pretty good; I got like 29 cents over the order cost.
  3. I 'lost' an order slip and needed it to go with the check I was given. I had to have the manager print it out again, and then after he got another copy one of my co-workers found the one I lost.
  4. I was planning out a route to a delivery and the manager was advising a route that was sort of indirect, so I asked why not just go the direct route and he said because it's a 25 mile per hour zone. I commented that almost everyone goes ten miles an hour over on that street, and proceeded to get chastised for not going 3-4 miles per hour under the speed limit like the manual says to. He proceeded to do a "lalalala I can't hear you" type thing about being told I go over the speed limit.
  5. I thoughtlessly put the order slip on top of the pizza box, right under the heating lamp, and turned the entire order slip thing black.

I try to go within the speed limit and five miles over. I try not to go more than five miles over. This usually puts me with the rest of the pack of cars instead of being passed and having every single one of them go around me. I don't know, but it seems to me you would be more likely to get into an accident for going slower than everyone else on the road.

While we're talking about the rules, let's also go on to say that if they found out my blinkers weren't working, my car wasn't clean (on the outside; it has cat paw prints all over it), or that since my radio is broken (not that we're supposed to have it on in the first place) I use a headset.

What I find hypocritical about the speed limit thing, or maybe I'm just reading him wrong (which I think, at this point, is highly possible), is that there are certain other very specific ... rules ... they don't follow. I'm not going to name any names and ruin it, but I'm just saying (Don't worry, it's nothing that would get anyone sick while making the pizzas or any such thing; I'd have a problem if it were that). I also happen to know several of the other drivers routinely go ten miles over the speed limit (I've seen them do this). And I also know at least one other driver does go under the speed limit.

But oh well.

Driving the speed limit when everyone else is doing 20 or so over will get you fined for being a hazard to traffic. :) There is such a thing as driving too slow.

Yeah it's the whole cover your own , and if he "seems" like he's enforcing the rules and informing you then that clears him....ummm nope well not here in Cali. oh well..

Hell I know for a fact that non of my friends go slower in not faster then the posted limit.. lol my Gpa even goes 5-10 miles over when he lived here in the states... He would always say "Hell I can go at any moment I have ta get there as fast as I can...to this day I don't know how he didn't have ton's of tickets
