Anyway, we went out to eat at a fairly fancy restaurant and then to a bowling alley. We were going to have a couple of our sister's friends we had over for Thanksgiving go with us as well, but one of them came down with a really bad fever so it was just the three of us. We ate, talked, and they really enjoyed the food. It felt kind of backward that my brother paid for it all (63$ for the food and a 12$ tip), but that kind of bill would put a pretty big dent into my bank account even now.
The bowling alley was jam-packed and we had to wait for a lane. While waiting we played a game of pool (my brother won; I was the first to lose) and a game of air hockey (brother vs sister, he won 7 to 3). A couple of minutes after they finished up that game of air hockey our lane was ready. Because we had waited about half an hour to get a lane we only played one game since it was already 8:30, it would take half an hour to get back home, and my brother didn't want to get back too late. I got a couple of strikes in a row and then 8 pins, so that shot my score up above theirs. I won't with 131 to my sister's 90-something and brother's 80-something. We then headed out (which is when we discovered it was raining, heh) and got back home about 9:30 or so.
While there I wrote out the following message on my phone to post here, but decided not to: "Well, I was going to say I found a new place to hang out, but I don't know if I could tolerate watching so many mushy couples. >.>" [and cute guys]
