*twiddles thumbs* Waiting on a response from the company.
I'm starting to get a little concerned about the sudden lack of quick response from the company.

They sent the offer letter at the end of the day Friday. I responded the next morning saying I accept and asking where we go from here. I hadn't gotten a call or email back from them so around 6pm today (4pm their time) I called and left a message on their contact's voice mail. I was hoping they would get back to me by the end of today so that I could make the reservations for the hotels tonight but no luck.

Hopefully they are just getting there stuff together and will get back to me with a verification response soon.

If you left a message at 4pm their time, and their workday ends at 5, they're probably not going to get back to you sameday.

Especially if the contact took the afternoon off or something.

I'm hoping this is the case. I know they were very interested in getting me on their team because of the quality of my code challenge response.

*wonders if he should try checking back in with them again at some point today*

Like most companies don't return calls if close to the end of their work day... here at work I only do call backs between 9am and Noon, and schedule meetings in the afternoon

Good Luck though..... :o) try not ta worry to much..

be calm. If they've offered, and you've accepted, there's contract. The only thing theyre doing dragging their feet is losing their own time. Panic/desperation is not pretty or desirable. After I signed all my crap, it was still 3-4 weeks before I started working, and one week of that was "OK we own j00, you start in a monthish, but we will call you in a week"

Give them a day or two. HR is not the most efficient of any company's departments.

That's the thing though; In my reply I was asking "Where do we go from here? Do I need to print out a copy and send it back, or ...?" All I've gotten so far is a copy of the employment offer in PDF format via Email. Nothing signed by them so far (of course that may be in the mail as we speak).

I would give it a day or so.. then just call back and tell them " that your just following up on your conversation on (date) on the status of your employment....
or something like that..

That is so cool that they were all hooked on ya.. way ta go... :o)
( in case I didn't congratz ya)
