The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective
Press Delete; Canceled Plans; "Game Night"; Movies
Have you ever wanted to press delete on everything? All the bookmarks, the buddy list, the phone numbers, the "friends"... everything. Just delete it all and see what comes back. I've been feeling like this a lot lately.

I had plans for today. I sent a text message this morning to see what the status was and soon after discovered those plans were canceled because of some forgotten work that needed done. Instead I got dressed (not that I wouldn't have had to anyway) and went shopping. It's been two weeks since I was last shopping so I really needed to anyway (not that it couldn't have waited until tomorrow after work).

Last night I went to a "Game Night" group that meets once a month not far from here. Most of the people there started the night off playing a game called Apples to Apples. After a couple of rounds of that some of us moved on to ImagineIff... while others split off for Spades or what-have-you. I told them I would definitely be there next month, but in the shower this morning I remembered that my company Christmas party is the 15th of next month. I still haven't figured out my "and guest", not that I have much selection. I wanted to ask the guy I was going to have over today, but I want to do it in person (no longer happening) and after being canceled on for the umpteenth time I wouldn't put it past him to cancel on that as well.

I'm going back to watching some movie on Netflix's Watch Now service. I just finished the 1994 movie Ghost In The Shell, which was odd and interesting at the same time. Currently I'm watching Bedrooms and Hallways, but it's likely I'll stop after about 15 minutes and look for something else to watch. Maybe not.

Oooh, I love Imaginiff. (Malarky is fun if you can find people who know how to play it.)

A couple of years ago, I bought Express Yourself. Don't get it. It's very bad. ;-)

More games I haven't heard of. I suppose part of that problem is not having people to play games with in the first place.

On another topic, I meant to let you know my company has already made the last trip to Kansas City. They rushed the last conversion through and sent less of the same people as the last one. No more chance of a paid-for trip to Kansas City now. :-\

Aw, boo. Well, perhaps sometime eventually.... I mean, it's still a fun place to be.

I hadn't heard of it before. It is an interesting and amusing game that's easy to learn.
