Country music at work
If my co-workers knew I was listening to Country music (it's a rare thing, but it happens) they would probably think I was nuts... if they didn't already anyway.

It's mostly just the more modern Country music that I like. Even I don't care for the slow story versions of Country that are fairly common from older songs. I still have a hard time getting Pandora to play the good stuff, though, so it's rare that I get tired of what I normally listen to to play it.

What do they listen to/expect you to listen to?

I'm not entirely sure. Something more modern and mainstream with the younger crowd. Whatever is 'hip' these days I guess (rap?). Or has a steady following (e.g. techno / dance). *shrug* I just know most people are anti-country, deeply, and expect others to agree with them.

I know a lot of people who refuse to listen to country, but the area I live in is rural enough that there's still a lot of people listening to country music here, even around my age.

"Red High Heels" by Kellie Pickler
"A Good Man" by Emerson Drive
"No Time For Tears" by Jo Dee Messina
"Softly" by Lonestar
"Happy Girl" by Martina McBride
