The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective
Rent: 0; Dragon Quest Swords: 1; Anthony Rapp: 0
After work yesterday I went in search of Rent, and also Dragon Quest Swords for the Wii. I tried Fry's again but they didn't have either of them. I then went to Wal-Mart but they didn't have either of them either. I did see Mulan on DVD and know how Disney loves to do that 'in the vault for 10 years' thing so I went ahead and bought it.

From there I was thinking I had seen a Gamestop down Eastern so I headed down, and down, and down, and down, until I ended up on Anthem and circling the community. I finally started heading back up Eastern. When I got just about where I had started from Wal-Mart I saw a Play N Trade in a little shopping center. I stopped there and checked out the used games they had, and they also had Dragon Quest Swords. I will admit to having checked out the employees as well, but that's beside the point. I went ahead and bought the game and headed back home.

When I got home I tried to purchase the tickets for tonight's event at UNLV with Anthony Rapp. Alas, despite the 'Purchase Tickets' link, asking me how many I wanted, and entering a CAPTCHA challenge, they are no longer selling tickets for the event. It looks like I won't be going after all.

For your enjoyment I've made a Google map route of my drive. You can see how easily I can get 'lost' and how long it takes me to just turn around. Usually I don't turn around; I make several turns to make a big loop. It just so happened that this one did that by itself.

I've been to that Play N Trade before. I thought it was lame and overpriced!

When neither Wal-Mart or Fry's Electronics has it then I'll take what I can get. It's a new game and was priced for about what I probably would have had to pay at either other store anyway.

Of the used games that I took the time to notice a price they didn't seem overpriced for regular market value either. Then again I haven't been paying too much attention to market value and I'm not frugal enough to care about a couple of dollars difference when it comes to games.

Where would you suggest going for games?

My routine is to usually buy one game at a time, and once I get three or four, trade them in for a new game.

Since I mostly play RPGs that rarely have worthwhile replay value, I tend to play through once then resale.
