The Autobiography of Russell
Life from a different perspective
Bad decisions
On Friday I made a decision that is doing very bad things to my free time. After work Friday I went to Fry's and bought Final Fantasy XII and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. Friday night I stayed up until 4:30am switching between the two games and finally ending the night with about 15 minutes of Sword of Mana (from Gamefly). As of this writing I've already put 11 or 12 hours into FF-XII and about 5 or 6 into RC:GC.

Saturday night was game night at Screwballs. It took me a while to put down the games so I got there about 30 minutes late. I learned to play Pinochle (pronounced pi·noch·le, or seemingly 'pea-knuckle'). There was also a couple of games of Clue and I also had a refresher game of Cribbage before calling it a night at 1am. I came back and played about half an hour of RC:GC.

I was also invited to join them for a light and music show on Fremont Street tonight at 7pm. They changed the lights to the music of Queen and brought over the #1 Queen tribute band from London.

Considering that I'm supposed to be moving as much of my stuff as possible to the new house today, this is very bad. Tomorrow the internet gets switched to the new place so I may be offline until I do get moved. I still need to hire movers for the TV, sofas, and bed. I'm thinking about getting an air mattress for the mean time so that I have something to sleep on over there (ya know, where the internet will be). At the very least I'll need to get food, clothes, and bathroom/shower items moved over. I'll probably take the time to put my old clothes in bags to donate or just throw away.

Alright, time for me to get moving. The shower calls and I'm hungry again.

My desktop computer hasn't been on for over two weeks now. I still need to return the PSU and get a new motherboard (preferably one that supports all the hookups of the case). I'll probably get to that some time this week or next weekend.

All that to say I haven't even played EVE lately. And no, still not interested in playing WoW. Final Fantasy ends; it's the story I play it for. WoW is more for the socializing because the story is diluted to not have minimal importance on the game play or characters. I also don't like games where I have to choose one guild or faction over any others.
