Preparations to move
I'm going through my pantry to organize what to bring to the new place. It's kind of sad that over half the items in there are expired. Some of them as far back as '07 and '08. This includes items like Ramen Noodles, flour, cans of soup, juices, cake mixes, and stove-top meals. The same thing happened in the freezer. :-/ Well, on the plus side it's less I need to transport.

I still have to schedule movers for the big items (bed, tv, sofas, desk, coffee table).

Oh, and schedule someone to take away the old car. Some online site was all "We'll give you 60$ for it" and I'm just thinking for 60$ I'll donate it to charity.

Current Mood: busy

I was thinking the same thing about a can of expired Campbell's chicken noodle soup a few months ago, except when I put it in a pot the liquid had done some sort of odd congealing. Even after I had heated it up to boiling it was still in lumps. I decided that since I was sick already I didn't feel like taking my chances. I'm just erring on the side of caution now, and it's as good as any other method to limit what I have to store at the new place.
