Motorcycle Trip: Day 8, end of trip
I've finally made it to the end of the trip. I'm in Atlanta, at Kyle's, with no further incidents. I'm weary and ready for a rest from travel. Never again am I doing 8 days of heavy travel, day after day. I want down time in each location, at the very least.

Greenville was great. I left later than expected because it was an effort to get myself going. I hope to visit again before too long.

This may be my last post for a few days as I settle in a bit and recoup before Dragon*Con on Friday.

Thankee. It's good to be stationary for a moment.

Atlanta's traffic did have me worried.

The traffic to and in Atlanta was really quite tame (and speedy, heh). A few truckers decided to race each other on the interstate to see who could pass who in which lane, all while only going 60mph. Once I got into Atlanta I just hit up the HOV lane until I got near my exit. There was some major backups for the two lanes of exits just before mine so I just went around that lump of traffic.

It's all good. :-)

glad you made it, yeah traveling that much non-stop isn't something that sounds fun but I guess you can say you did it :)

It was all fun until the front tire deflated, and from there it just went downhill. I probably wouldn't be quite as exhausted about it all if those two delays hadn't happened so close together and toward the end. I was really enjoying myself on the bike prior to that point. :)
