First of: Baseball Game (Braves vs Phillies)

Last night I went to my first baseball game in-person. It was the Braves versus the Phillies, and the Braves got their butts whomped. Phillies 11 to Braves 5. It would have looked like 11 to 2 by the end but the Braves managed to get in a few more scores in the last inning. I can't say I was rooting specifically for the home or away team. Most of the time I was going for whoever was up to bat.

One thing there wasn't a ton of, thankfully, is the home team fans booing the other team when they did anything good for their team. I can understand going "Awwww" when your team screws up, but booing the other team because they make a home run or hit the ball seems like a lack of sportsmanship.

It was interesting, and I was able to follow along a lot better than the football game, but I don't think I'll be spending another three and a half hours at one again.

The fireworks display after was nice. I haven't seen one in a while so I just sat back and took in the show. All the pretty lights and loud sounds were a good distraction for about five to ten minutes.
