Do you ever imagine what other people would be thinking if they were telepathic and heard what you just thought? heheh

Thank goodness there are no such people; pretty sure my presence would elicit some odd reactions.

If there are they've probably gotten very good at hiding the fact they're telepathic. :)

This morning on the bus I thought the lady next to me was probably thinking "Who is this guy to sit next to me" and then thought that if she were telepathic she would probably be raising an eyebrow. That amused me.

I would love to be telepathic just to test how likely a reaction that is, at least for me. Personally I think it's unlikely, heh.

Pretty sure 90% of the time they're thinking things like, "Did I leave the oven on?"

Eh... I think that may be a severe understatement. I don't have any way to back that up, though.

My brain is usually all over the place on topics in a given period of time. Even while trying to focus on one task at work I'll still frequently sidetrack to other tasks, email, or even just checking something on the phone for a few seconds then right back to what I was doing. Oh, I think I just sidetracked from the original topic. :-P

heh, a possibility too.

I guess I'm unusual in my desire to be telepathic. :) The only types of things I'd rather not 'know' is if someone is thinking sexually about something they really shouldn't even if they have no intention of following through. Beyond that knowing the rest is idle curiosity. But I'm sort-of assuming people can shield the thoughts they don't really want everyone to know. The rest would be so mundane as to not matter either way.

What about it makes you want to not be telepathic?

Fair enough. That is one of the most common newly-telepathic scenarios, that they can't block out the people around them and almost have a nervous breakdown from the amount of 'noise'.

Ignorance is bliss? :-)
