Why does she have a five o'clock shadow?!

Of all things to be surprised about seeing in San Francisco. :-P

I guess the guys in thongs on leashes just got so common-place we're back to be astonished at the more regular. Heheh

San Francisco is a lot of things, but I don't think "maiden" applies.

Quite true, quite true.

Newcomers might come with that idea in mind, but it won't take them long to realize oh how far from reality it is. :-P

Wow...

If you look at the crowd of San Francisco singers in that video, it continues the comparison of old vs new gay that they made earlier.

San Francisco, to me, is one of those places that is fun to visit, get some good laughs, and take in the raw overly sexual atmosphere, but still not somewhere I want to live. I wouldn't mind if I lived here, or ended up moving here for work or something, but Seattle is still my want to live place. :-)

I'd love to live in San Francisco (and it would probably be my top city pick purely from a careerist standpoint) but, yeah, as far as the city/region as a whole goes I'd rather live in Seattle. Possibly even Portland.

Portland is nice. I was only there for 48 hours so I didn't get to evaluate it all that well. I would consider visiting it on occasion from Seattle, at least.

I'm pretty sure Saint Francis was a guy. ;)

Well, that would certainly explain the five o'clock shadow. XD

I hear ya. I'm only on week two (although not straight) and am not feeling social tonight. I checked out a few of the main displays (the En-V from GM looks really cool; I'd get one of those in addition to my motorcycle), but am opting out of the after party. I don't feel like wandering around 3 thousand geeks, many of which are cute, where no one is really talking to anyone (or at least to me). And I have a minor but constant headache.

Doing dinner at Julians, then back to the hotel for nap.
