Forgetting Decorations; Lost Pendant
When you forget you have a calendar of nude guys on your wall and similar fridge magnets until after the cable technician leaves... *face-palm* Though, I wouldn't have removed them anyway. Guests seem to notice them more than I do these days. They've become part of the background to my own house that I don't even given them a thought most of the time.

In other news, I spent 1.5+ hours prior to the technician's arrival searching through boxes trying to find my triangle rainbow pendant. With much disappointment I must announce to having severely misplaced or lost said piece. I doubt the place I found it in Chicago still has them and it was very hard to find just that one, so very disappointed indeed. Here's a picture of me wearing it ages ago.

It's pretty close. I decided to go with the one from NewEgg (to support them and the people who are using their marketplace) which is close enough. It's small-ish so as not to be like wearing a giant bling / noose around my neck, but large enough to show the colors and what-not.

It's hard to tell based on one picture, but it may even be the exact same as the one I got or the one I had. The one from NewEgg is a lot deeper than I expected and the one I originally had.

Thanks for looking!

Did he comment on the poster?

We've learned that we need to do a pre-party walkthru to make sure we've got no really dirty items out.

He did not, sadly. He was kind of cute too.

Before he walked into the apartment, before he could have seen the poster, he started putting covers on his shoes. My first thought was "Oh my gosh, he's going to murder me." It took me a few more seconds to realize it was probably company policy and all that to keep incidents of muddy carpets in clients homes to a minimum. So you understand my tthought process while he was still there was tainted by the thought of getting murdered. >_>
