Feeling Better
Since getting sick...

Day 5, Tonight my appetite for more than saltine crackers, chicken noodle soup, or chicken finally returned. Still sore throat.
Day 5, Today was the first time I had any interest in or ability to sit in front of the computer for more than a few minutes.
Day 4, Yesterday morning I saw a doctor and got some meds.
Day 2, Sore throat, painful to swallow, minor fever (100-102'F), occasional chills, headache, and/or queasy stomach.
Day 1, I've been sick since last Thursday. Sore throat in the morning, everything else hit at once in the evening after work.

Most of my time has been spent laying on the sofa under a blanket watching various things on Netflix while having a mason jar of water, mug of tea, and saltine crackers handy. The main thing I've been watching is West Wing, but also a few episodes of Ultimate Spiderman, Lilo & Stitch, and Max Steel. Less notable watches were Wolverine and the X-Men, Justice League Unlimited, & Magic School Bus.

Forecast:
Day 6, Should no longer contagious, symptoms and recovery time still likely.
Day 8, Return to work (Day 7 is Christmas or that would have been it).
Day 10, Going to see Beethoven's Ninth at the Seattle Symphony.
Day 13, Last day of Meds.

PS: Apparently the way to get me to keep clothed at home, beyond having guests, is to be sick. o.O

I'm sorry you were so sick. Did you have strep throat?

That's what the doctor suspects but the Strep-A Rapid test returned negative with a 10% chance of being wrong, but they haven't called saying the backup test is positive yet either so chances are it was Strep-B or similar.

Nothing was ever truly critical; average fever, annoying headache, low queasy stomach, painful swallowing, almost no coughing, notable chills, etc. Non-productive, but not critical. *shrug*
